Furuno DFF1 (replaces BBFF1)
DFF1
Furuno's DFF1 is a new network sounder featuring Furuno Digital Filter (FDF)
Technology designed for use with NavNet and NavNet vx2. This new
digital Network Sounder can turn any NavNet display into a powerful,
dual-frequency digital fish finder. The compact network sounder unit
connects directly to a NavNet display or an Ethernet hub with a single
Ethernet cable. If it is connected to an Ethernet hub that has multiple
displays attached, each of those displays will have access to the
Network Sounder.
The sounder itself has a selectable 600W or 1kW output power. You may choose
LF (50kHz), HF (200kHz) or both at the touch of a key and obtain
detailed echoes of bottom structure and fish using range scales of
up to 5,000 ft. And because the Network Sounder is used on a NavNet
display, you will also be able to use its Radar and Chart Plotter
features depending on which unit you have.
Standard Features:
Works with NavNet and NavNet vx2
Dual-Frequency 50/200 kHz
New DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Filter makes the picture clearer and easier
to discriminate between baitfish and larger target species
DSP technology helps adjust gain and output power as well as suppresses main
bang (echoes just below transducer)
8/16/64 Color Echo Presentations
8 Range Scales to 2,500 feet
Selectable output power of 600W or 1kW
Audio and visual alarms for water depth, fish echoes and water temperature*
Wide variety of transducer options
Selectable automatic cruising or fishing modes to suit your style of boating
Automatic function for detecting fish and bottom in both shallow and deep water
White line feature helps discriminate fish lying near the bottom
*Requires approriate sensors
Warranty 2 Years

NavNet BBFF3
Furuno's new BBFF3 high power, network sounder is
your key to finding more fish. This network fish finder connects
directly to a NavNet display or an Ethernet hub with a single
Ethernet cable. If it is connected to an Ethernet hub that has
multiple displays attached, each of those displays will have access
to the fish finder features. The unit itself can be configured
as a 1, 2 or 3 kW RMS output, dual frequency sounder. You may
choose low frequency, high frequency or both at the touch of a
key and obtain detailed echoes of bottom structure and fish using
phased range scales up to 2,400 meters. It also utilizes Furuno's
Free Synthesizer (FFS) transceiver which means you can easily
select from a broad range of frequencies.
The BBFF3 turns
any NavNet display into one of the most powerful fish finders
available on the market today. And because it is being used on
a NavNet display, you can split the screen with other NavNet features
like: Radar, Chart Plotter, NavData and even Video, depending
on which NavNet unit you have.

NavNet FAX30 Weatherfax
Furuno's new FAX30 can turn any NavNet display or
PC into a Weatherfax and Navtex receiver. This waterproof "Black
Box" unit connects directly to a NavNet display or an Ethernet
hub with a single Ethernet cable. If it is connected to an Ethernet
hub that has multiple 10.4" NavNet displays attached, each
of those displays will have access to the FAX30. In addition,
the FAX30 has the capability of being connected to a standard
PC with Ethernet card. The unit itself receives valuable weather
images and navigational information. When connected to a 10.4" NavNet
display, the image and information is displayed directly on screen,
with softkey menu options for ease of use. On a PC, the images
and information are displayed by simply using your Web Browser.
There is no complicated proprietary software to install or learn.
You can even print all of the information using your PC and printer! Combine
the new FAX30 with NavNet's true color Radar and you have the
ultimate in weather tracking. Now you can navigate more safely
even during uncertain conditions.
