EXPLORER 467
The Explorer 467 delivers powerful
dual frequency performance on an incredible 640 x 480 pixel color
display.
The 467 has numerous sounder display options including split and full screen
zoom, A-scope and a choice of white, blue or black background. There's
also a choice of color palettes to highlight bottom structure or a particular
fish species. When purchased with an optional fuel kit, the Explorer 467
will let you track and display fuel data on screen.
Its state of the art digital sonar technology delivers incredible target detail
and high definition bottom structure in shallow and deep water.
VGA - Four times the pixels!
The Vertical Value: When bottom detail becomes critical in identifying species' habitat,
or for navigating a way through coral reefs and uncharted channels, you need
greater detail in the vertical column. The Explorer 467 and 457 have 4 times
the screen pixels of previous large screen models, making them an ideal choice
for all boaters needing detailed information.
High detail also means better target definition for fishing. Low-resolution devices
might identify schools of fish, but high-resolution devices will aid in determining
if they are small schools of big fish, or large schools of small fish.

EXPLORER 457
Like its big brother the Explorer 467, the 457 reveals
water column detail like never before, thanks to dual frequency sonar paired
with an outstanding 640 x 480 pixel color display.
The 457 maximizes helm space and value, by putting all that power in a 5" screen.
Having a dual frequency fishfinder allows you to select optimum performance for
either deep or shallow water. As well as the standard mixed frequency display,
the Explorer 467 and Explorer 457 allows you to select either a narrow beam or
a wide angle beam.

EXPLORER 435
The Explorer 438 and Explorer 435 are two compact,
yet powerful, digital color sounders that offer unmatched screen
detail.
Both units feature digital sounder technology to improve the quality of the sonar
images displayed on screen. The Explorer 435 and Explorer 438 also
offer the fisherman a choice of advanced sonar displays such as A-scope,
split-screen variable zoom and a choice of color palettes.
The 256-color spectrum shows at a glance the true nature of the bottom structure
and target detail to help identify habitat. Northstar's Explorer
435 and Explorer 438 deliver full color performance at a great price.

Dual Frequency Pixels, Power and Ping-rate.
Northstar’s range of grayscale fishfinders offer outstanding
performance in each category: 360 x 240 pixels for best target definition
250 W RMS output power for excellent depth performance 50 soundings
per second (or pings) for greater coverage. The Explorer 443d offers
depth and temperature features while the advanced Explorer 443df
also provides speed and log functions. With an optional fuel kit
added, the Explorer 443df also offers gasoline and SmartCraft™ fuel
management capabilities. Dual Frequency = Dual Beam Width Both units
incorporate selectable frequency to allow the fisherman to adjust
the sonar beam width with a standard dual frequency transducer. Widen
or narrow your search area by selecting either 83 kHz or 200 kHz
for a beam width of 20° or 14°.

Explorer
443s/443sp
Single Frequency Simple, robust and reliable, the 443s
and 443sp are all you need for entry level fishfinding. 160 x 120
pixels 150 W RMS output power for depth of 600 ft (180 m) 20 soundings
per second will give good target detail The Explorer 443s provides
the key functions of depth and temperature and the Explorer 443sp
also provides speed and log information. Both models are ideal entry
level fishfinders. The large digit depth displays also make them
