SeaKey you get the peace of mind that comes with an unprecedented

know where you are. SeaKey provides instant communication to the

for a number of situations such those listed to the left.
Bilge Water Level - SeaKey monitors the water level in the bilge. If the water
in the bilge area exceeds a normal level, a signal is sent to the SeaKey Response
Center. Via the on-board Satcom unit, the alert signal goes to a satellite and
then to us at the SeaKey Response Center. Your personal SeaKey web portal will
indicate a “high
water” the status. You indicate the procedures to be followed, including
notification options. We will notify you by telephone or email per your instructions.
Boat Theft - You have the confidence that when you leave your boat, it is secure.
Activate the GeoFence once you are ready to leave your vessel. In the unlikely
event that your boat leaves a predefined GeoFence area, a signal is sent to the
SeaKey Response Center. We will notify you by telephone or email per your instructions
or notify the proper authorities if you cannot be reached. When you log onto
your personal web portal, it will indicate the status of the alarm.
Battery Voltage - SeaKey monitors the main battery (or the battery bank that
it’s
connected) and if the voltage drops to a preset threshold or rises above a high
voltage threshold, the Satcom unit sends a notification automatically to the
SeaKey Response Center. We will notify you by telephone or email per your instructions,
and this alarm status is indicated on your personal SeaKey Web portal

A SeaKey® equipped boat can potentially cost significantly less to insure.
Some carriers offer up to 10% discounts on insurance premiums, which in many
cases itself pays for the SeaKey membership. Why do the boat insurance carriers
believe in SeaKey? For the same reason you do, to decrease some of the risks
inherent in boating. Two progressive insurance carriers have eagerly endorsed
SeaKey, NBOA and INAMAR. More insurers are currently evaluating the system, and
some of our members have negotiated discounts on their own. Check out what these
insurers have to offer; we’re sure you’ll be pleased. |
